Scott Myles (born 1975) graduated in Fine Art Drawing & Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, in 1997. He attended MFA seminars with Ken Lum at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where he lived in 1998, and moved to Glasgow in 1999 where he continues to live and work. His work has been shown nationally and internationally (his current solo exhibition ‘This Way Out’ is at The Modern Institute, Glasgow) and his work is included in several major collections, including Tate Gallery, London; The Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. In 2016 he was awarded an Andrew W Mellon Research Fellowship to support his research at the Virginia Historical Society, Richmond USA.
