Sam Watson (born Newcastle 1987) lives and works in Newcastle.
Sam Watson works as a curator, writer and designer. He is interested in how the role of the curator can function as praxis, investigating methodologies of ways of working together, and processes of research and display in relation to contemporary art and exhibition making.
Since 2009, he has been founder and Programme Director of CIRCA Projects, a peripatetic curatorial and commissioning organisation based in Newcastle. As of Summer 2014, he works with CIRCA Projects as Associate Curator, whilst also developing independent and collaborative projects, including Drop City.
