Born Glasgow, 1966. Lives and works in Kilcreggan, Scotland.
In Sinclair’s work public space is approached not simply in terms of its architecture or geography, but also in relation to its history, social function and contemporary reality. He uses specific graphics, symbols and colours to allude to notions of place, and creates a dialogue about life and art that is intended as a means of making sense of either.  The work he produced for the Cove Park Portfolio We Love Real Life Scotland, is a six-colour screenprint, that uses the recurrent slogan from his work, seen recently in solo exhibitions Real Life Paintings, at CCA for Glasgow International and at Galerie Knäpper Baumgarten, Stockholm, Sweden, both 2006.
