Lives and works in Glasgow
McMullan graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2003.
Since graduating she has worked as a textile designer and also owns, curates and manages Welcome Home, a creative retail space and showcase for craft, design and illustration.
McMullan works by applying the same ideas and techniques to a variety of materials creating layers to apply to both the body and interiors based around an evolving textile and paper collection.
A recent development in her practice is Black Arches, a new label focusing on pattern, print and the crossover between design and craft.
