Born 1976, lives and works in New York.
Matt Keegan studied Fine Art at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, in 1998, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, in 2001. He received a Master of Fine Art from Columbia University, New York, in 2004.
Working primarily in sculpture, photo and video-based work, Keegan has exhibited widely throughout the USA and internationally. He also co-founded ‘North Drive Press’ in 2004: a non-thematic annual art publication that grew to feature over 200 contributors who conducted artist-to-artist interviews and produced multiples for its five boxed editions.
