Maeve Redmond is an independent, Glasgow based designer. Redmond’s practice is research driven and often draws upon social and historical references. She works across print, digital and 3D media.
After Graduating from the Visual Communication department at The Glasgow School of Art, she began to work independently and in collaboration with fellow graduates. For the past year she has also worked part-time as the Lead Designer of The Skinny magazine.
Redmond’s work is primarily based in print (print materials / campaigns, book and magazine design). Selected clients include: CCA (Glasgow), DCA (Dundee), GSA Exhibitions (Glasgow) and the Glasgow Women’s Library.
Current projects include ‘Barrie Girls’ a continuation of a recent exhibition with Panel, a campaign design commissioned by The Common Guild to promote a film by artists Phil Collins and the design of Vol. 3 of The Burning Sand magazine (ed. Sarah Lowndes) in collaboration with Sophie Dyer.
