Lauren is the first person to take part in the Cove Park Internship Programme. She is here throughout this season of residencies to carry out the role of Artist Facilitator.
Originally from Glasgow, Lauren graduated from Central St Martins, Performance: Design and Practice in 2010 and has been working in making and design ever since.
While carrying out her studies in London, Lauren worked in a team of assistant stage managers at Shunt Lounge and explored the possibility of different roles within the performing arts.
Since leaving University she has worked in set design at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, for BBC Alba productions, and on short films.
She has also explored costume making in wardrobe departments for the Tron and the Citizens theatres in Glasgow and recently in New York, for Atlantic Picture’s feature film The Brass Teapot.
During her residency at Cove Park she intends to extend her skills and broaden her knowledge in arts management.  This will include fund raising, development, governance and communications.
