Laura Spring is originally from Staffordshire and now lives and works in Glasgow.  She is a graduate of Glasgow School of art where she was awarded a BA in graphic design in 2002.  During the early part of her career she worked in costume design for film, tv and theatre and then went on to set up a textiles printing business in 2007, called Mouse and Bean.  Her work has been exhibited and sold at various design fairs across the UK including Origin in 2009.
Spring now works as an independent designer/maker from her studio in Glasgow, concentrating on developing limited edition pieces, commissions and collaborate works. Her bold graphic prints often explore imagery taken from everyday preoccupations and observations such as the weather.
