She explores this through experimental approach to process and materials and creates accessible interactive products for interior spaces. As well as developing her own collections, which she sells to a national and international market Slater also works on projects and commissions that include a collaborative womenswear collection for Kin by John Lewis and a collaborative project engaging artists to work with the Textile Archive at the V&A, London in 2016.
