Jess Wiesner lives and works in London. She studied Fine Art Sculpture at the University of Brighton, fro 1999 – 2002, and graduated from the De Ateliers Post-Graduate Studio Programme in 2004. She has exhibited collaborative projects and solo work both nationally and internationally in a number of venues including Hessell Museum, New York; Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge; Chisenhale Gallery, London; Tate Modern, London; CIC, Cairo; Auto Italia, London; Ohio, Glasgow; and Kunsthall Oslo, and have received grants from Arts Council England, The British Council, The Banff Centre, and the the Dutch Ministry for Arts and Science.
