Gerry Loose has published five collections, including Printed on Water: New and Selected Poems (2007) and That Person Himself (2009). Both books were published by Shearman. Acclaimed poet Tom Leonard described his work as ‘a poetry of wonder, sexuality, angry wit’.  He has lived in England, Ireland, Spain, Morocco (briefly) and now Scotland.  Work has been in poetry, agriculture and horticulture.  His poetry is as likely to appear in gardens (and ungardened landscapes) as on the page.    Gerry was Walking With Poets, poet in residence at Dawyck Botanic Garden in September.
