Lives and works in London.
Gail Pickering studied Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and went on to receive an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2001.
Gail Pickering’s practice includes performance, installation and video. She frequently collaborates with professional and amateur actors to realise works which playfully unpack sepcific sites, histories and social and political rituals. Her interest is to critically explore ideas of participation where individuals or groups are proposed both as collaborators or protagonists in the production of a work.
