Bea Last lives and works in Dumfries. A graduate of Westminster University, London (BA Hons. Illustration), she has exhibited widely across the UK and abroad, with recent solo exhibitions including The Linenhall Art Centre (County Mayo Ireland, 2013) and ‘Marking Time’ Gracefield Art Centre (Dumfries, 2010). For both these shows the artist was supported with an award from The Scottish Arts Trust and Creative Scotland in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council. She has also taken part in numerous national and international group exhibitions in centres such as Edinburgh, London, New York and San Diego. The artist was invited to submit for LIMINAL, a curated drawing exhibition at Cupar Arts Festival from 18-25 June 2016 and was awarded  participation in ‘SKETCH’ 2011, a curated drawing exhibition showcasing the work of architects, designers and artists at the Rabley Drawing Centre in Wiltshire. She is an Upland member and has taken part in several editions of the D&G programme ‘Spring Fling‘.
