B. D. Owens is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Shandon, on the Gare Loch. In 2017, he graduated from the Art, Society & Publics MFA Programme at DJCAD, University of Dundee. Previously, he studied at Concordia University, in Montreal, gaining a BFA in Sculpture. In 2017, he won the Fife Fine Arts Society Prize to fund two artist residencies, one at betOnest in Stolpe, Germany, and another at Cove Park.

Owens’ sculpture, text-works, performance, video and sound works have been exhibited in Montreal, Brooklyn, Dundee, Glasgow, Stolpe and Edinburgh. His poetry has been published in We Were Always Here: A Queer Words Anthology and Talking About Lobsters: New Writing Scotland Issue 34, and has been shortlisted in the Jupiter Artland: Inspired to Write Poetry and Prose Competition.
